D3Memories scans loose photos (front and back) in sizes up to 12” x 18″ (A3 format) at 600 and 1200 DPI optical resolutions. Our digital file formats and storage media adhere to genealogical best practices for long-term preservation as defined by the National Archives. Kodak-Perfect-Touch™ image enhancement (which improves color, contrast, and brightness) is automatically applied to all scanned images at no additional charge. Red eye removal, higher scan resolutions (for genealogists and archivists) and other advanced photo corrections are available upon request. 
D3Memories transfers and converts virtually any film reel or video cartridge tape to the latest digital formats suitable for long-term preservation and years of enjoyable viewing with no loss of quality. Video cartridge formats include VHS, VHS-C, Betamax, 8mm, Hi8, Digital 8, MiniDV, HDV, and MicroDV. Film formats include 8mm, Super 8, 9.5mm, 16mm, and 36mm. Our CareTouch™ professionals offer numerous services to enhance and improve your film and video tape quality including film cleaning, splicing, color correction, and audio capture. 
Scanning photo albums and scrapbooks requires special scanners and advanced techniques and skills by trained professionals. Our white-gloved CareTouch™ team handle your albums gently and carefully following guidelines prescribed by the National Archives and genealogical best practices. D3Memories specialists document the photo layout of each page for proper restoration before they disassemble, scan, and reassemble the albums Photos are returned back in their original position within the album. Preserve, share, print, and display your treasured documents, important documents and records, and historical and/or genealogical artifacts such as birth and marriage certificates, diplomas, legal documents and contracts, passports, military service records, postcards, newspaper and magazine articles, coin and stamp collections, children’s school papers and records, awards and more. Our high-speed document scanners can scan double-sided documents and store them in both JPEG image files and Acrobat PDF files. Legible, typewritten documents can be converted into searchable PDF and editable files stored as Microsoft Office Word documents or Excel spreadsheets.
